BAD ART made by BAD GIRLS for people with BAD TASTE
Bad Taste was a site-based installation at Kibbee Gallery in 2017. A collaboration between artists Rainey Rawles and Christine Lu, the exhibition was a low-brow take on pop art and conceived as a “life-sized pop-up book”. It featured interactive installations such as a telephone that rang at random intervals and played different audio clips when picked up, a television with subliminal messages, and a fully functional Moog Etherwave Theremin.
